Are You Interested in Getting Involved?

Thank you for considering joining our 100% volunteer department! The Old Lyme Fire Department is always looking for individuals who wish to serve the Town of Old Lyme in the capacity of firefighter. Men and women ages 15 and older that are in good physical condition and have the desire to participate in fire emergency activities are eligible for membership.

Please review the below regarding the application process:

· Download the PDF Application for Membership form, fill it out completely, be sure to sign and date.

· You may return the completed application in person, along with an up-to-date physical and your annual membership dues, to the Lyme Street station located at 69 Lyme Street. Our training and meeting nights begin every Wednesday at 7pm, our stations are not physically manned otherwise, please arrive during this time.

· You may provide a physical from your preferred physician, or visit Middlesex Medical Center in Essex. Be sure to have the form provided in the application PDF completed regardless of who performs your physical.
